imagine my surprise when I came across this ad on Craigslist:

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

SVT: 1999 Mustang Cobra
Mileage: ~34,000
Cons: It started to overheat the other day, I had recently changed out the headgaskets about 10,000miles ago at Giles Subaru of Lafayette, but I suspect they may have blown again.
Pros: Has a Mishimoto Radiator & Roc Bloc mudguards
Please note the Yakima bars will not be coming along with the car.
Asking price 1,500 obo.

Let’s see, mileage seems really low. Has a blown head gasket. Could be easily repaired and flipped for a profit.

Then I found this ad:

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Wait a minute....

Nice one. I’m not sure why the scammers don’t use more realistic good deals.

But then, the email scammers know that anyone who responds to one of those Nigerian prince emails isn’t all that bright and it helps to weed out anyone with a little common sense.

You are right. They aren’t too bright. I read about this lady being scammed just yesterday.

Funny! Also, being in Lafayette the Winter ski hill picture seems suspicious as hell.

TL;DR: Middle aged woman starts online “dating”, falls for scammer, loses everything, becomes money mule, gets caught, goes to jail, still loves scammer.
